INITIAL BRIEF
This is the first meeting, virtual or in-person, when we start your project in full. We’ll learn all that we need to know, including objectives, property usage and the stylistic visions and aspirations you have for your renovation. We'll take photographs and thorough notes to ensure that we fully understand your design and construction requirements, your timing and of course your budget. After this preliminary meeting we'll share the findings of the brief as well as our design fee proposal.
CONCEPT DESIGN
Now that we know what you want, we’ll consolidate your thoughts and our conceptual thinking and present floor plans, inspirational images, mood boards and samples that give you a sense of where we're going. This phase really gives us the foundation for moving forward and enables you to make sure we're all on the same path.
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
Here's where we’re ready to progress to the detailed design phase. We truly believe it’s about details and the function they serve, along with making sure that your vision has been translated to something that we can build and you can enjoy. KABELA & CO will present architectural drawings along with recommended final finishes for your approval.
BUDGET & ESTIMATE
The non-design phase, but just as important. At this point, with an approved design plan, we’ll present you with a construction budget and estimate, and an itemized breakdown of all costs, including materials and labor. Need to edit the budget? We’ll work with you in modifying, simplifying and adjusting as needed.
REALIZATION & BUILD
It’s time for construction, but before we strike that first nail you’ll be presented with an outlined schedule which includes project updates, site visits and meeting dates, construction details and completion dates. We will update you regularly on your project’s progress, always striving to keep the job on time, on budget and beyond your expectations.
